Completed Projects: Ingram Avenue, Hampstead

Over ten years ago when Stone Concepts was founded, we worked exclusively in the commercial sector. As our company became more well known and our reputation grew, more and more private clients began to get in touch requesting our services; in 2016, to meet this growing demand, the Stone Concepts service was expanded to include residential work.

One of the most extensive, not to mention exciting, residential projects we worked on was at two high-end properties on Ingram Avenue in the Hampstead area of London (which has been described as 'undoubtedly one of the finest roads in this sought after district'). Our remit was to draft a wide range of stone installations in the property, before sourcing and supplying the materials and carrying out the installations themselves.

The fact that 53 different materials were used in the completion of the project is testament to its massive scale. Our team were faced with complex logistics in the sourcing of the materials, which came from all over the world via our trusted network of quarries and suppliers. The client obviously demanded superlative finishes which our team, with their unmatched experience, were able to deliver.

The many different aspects of the renovation included installing feature floors, staircases and bathrooms, along with a beautiful swimming pool. One aspect of the work considered especially important was the entrance halls: the designer's vision was interpreted by our team using stunning materials sourced from Portugal. Before being shipped to us, these materials were dry laid to ensure they exactly met specification.
